The work featured in this project is completed by the students from the one year Certificate in Fabric Printing at the School of Art and Design at AUT University in the Dye Workshop unit.

Working with tutor Susan Holmes they learn how to dye a variety of fibres and experiment with batik, tie dye and other associated processes. Well known for her award winning Wearable Art entries, Susan introduces the use of recycling and encourages the students to be experimental with a variety of dyeing processes.
