This project provides a gallery of work completed in 2001 by students from the one year Certificate in Fabric Printing in the School of Art and Design at AUT University in Auckland. The project involved designing and printing a fabric length in their Maori and Pacific Art and Design paper. The students then constructed a shirt in the Introduction to Fashion Technology paper. This paper introduces basic pattern making and garment assembly. The tutors involved were Angela Fraser, Patricia Edwards and Judy Darrington. |
